No Kings, 3/28
I arrived at “No Kings” 3 in Downtown Los Angeles at around 2:00 pm. I was initially ambivalent about the protests, as despite everything that we do, the Democrats don’t do anything. But it’s important to keep fighting.
There were thousands of people who attended, all united in one goal - turning back the tide of fascism. Will it work? That remains to be seen, but we can’t give up now.
Fundamentally, what’s required is a no-holds-barred, tactical deployment against fascists in general. The gloves are off.
Still, I think there is hope - as always the power is with the people. So let’s get on with this.
